We are thrilled to release our first Christmas collection of H.O.T Candles. They’re 100% soy and use only the finest Australian Made fragrance oils. A combination of wood wick and cotton wick.

This collection has 3 beautiful scents that will help evoke the magic of the festive season. We have a few size options available:

Limited Edition XL Glass Votive Candles

A single wood wick candle sits in the middle of this jumbo candle weighing 750g. Not for the faint hearted, this gorgeous candle will burn for 100+ hrs. One thing, and take heed, this is a very big candle and it burns slowly. In testing, we burnt it for 10+hrs at a time and it burnt beautifully. Only purchase this candle if you can afford to have a beautiful Christmas scented candle burring ALL DAY.

This candle takes some time to melt to the edges and if you have to blow it out, please do so only once it has melted to the edge. This is the best way to make sure that you get the most out of your candle.

The candle measures at 12.5cm x 13.5cmm tall.

(These are made to order. Please allow 1+ week for production/delivery - best to pre-order)

This item has a wood wick.

Wood wick

The wood wick will crackle from time to time and it burns very much like a traditional cotton wick. Just a few things. The wick should not need trimming with your first burn. If, after lighting the candle for the first time, you see black smoke extinguish the flame and use some paper towel to break off some of the wick and the re-light the candle. This is how you trim a wood wick candle. Do this before you light the candle every time, but make sure that you don't break off too much. If you do this, please get in touch for some tips. All is not lost.

When you see that there is only about 1-1.5cm of wax left in the bottom, use your finger as a measure, you candle is almost finished so make sure that this is the last burn.

Cotton wick.

Trim the wick before every burn as normal.

Extinguish the wick rather than blowing out. This is to push the lit wick down into the wax until the flame goes out then immediately lift it back up out of the wax. I do this with a metal or wooden skewer. Please be careful while doing this as it’s all hot.

Figgy Pudding

Oh man! To me, this is Christmas in a candle. It is a melodic dance of Orange and Clove, Cinnamon and Almond, Vanilla and Malt.

Burning this candle will immediately put you in the Christmas spirit. It's warm and creamy, spicy yet mellow. It literally makes me think of Christmas pudding and custard.

*NB - This candle oil has a high percentage of essential oils in its formulation which change in colour from batch to batch. The dark malty colour of this candle is ok. I assure you. It just adds to the Christmasi-ness of the candle.

Hansel + Gretel

This candle is sweet and makes me think of vanilla icing. Now, I'm no fan of vanilla (it has it's place as fridge wipe) but this vanilla is accompanied by the likes of cinnamon, raisin, baked bread, malt and musk. It makes for a smooth cacophony of Christmas bliss.

Christmas Cedar

This offering is very woodsy, as the name suggests but again, not too much. It offers notes of Orange and Elderberry, Fir Needle (Christmas-Christmas-Christmas) and Peach, Cedarwood and Patchouli. A beautiful marriage of fresh fruit and berry with the tranquil cedar wood base.
