ANTHURIUM KOKEDAMA
A gorgeous combo of hot pink and mauve.
These lovelies like to dry out a bit between waters so they’re good for people who forget that they have indoor plants or travel a lot (not that anyone is doing this at the moment 😂)
Nonetheless they’re beautiful and will add colour and life to your home or office.
☀️ can tolerate all levels of indirect light, but anthuriums growing in low light will have fewer flowers and will grow slower. These plants cannot tolerate direct light however, as this can burn the leaves and they don’t make plant grade sunscreen! They grow best in bright, indirect light.
💧water regularly however as the Anthurium does like periods of dryness between waters, be careful not to overwater. Make sure to water your anthurium plant regularly, but don’t over water. Only water your anthurium when the moss ball is dry all over to the touch.
⚠️💧The plant is susceptible to root rot, so too much water can cause the roots to die.
🍌 Use very diluted liquid fertiliser once every 3-4 months. Just add it to the water that you soak the kokedama in or If watering from above, add it to the watering can. I am advised that a fertiliser with a higher phosphorus number will increase the best blooms for your Anthurium.
⚠️🐈🐩 Cats & Dogs + Anthurium don’t mix as it can cause mouth and throat irritation if the cats eat any of the plant.
They’re not that hard to look after and once you get the correct ration of location, water, light and feeding, you’ll be blessed with long lasting blooms.
